Beatrice A. Oliver, age 85, of Robinson Township, Pittsburgh, PA, passed away on Friday, February 6, 2026, after a long illness. Bea was born in Cliff Mine, North Fayette Township, on October 2, 1940, daughter to the late Mary E. (Belgie) and Gabriel J. Ceyrolles; loving wife of 56 years to the late Francis J. “Fran” Oliver who passed on April 8, 2021. Bea is also preceded in death by her sisters, Lorraine Heinlein-Lambros-Miller, Mary Maximovich, Gabrielle “Doll” Ceyrolles, and her nephew, Gabe Ceyrolles. She is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews, too many to count, and her sisters-in-law, Barbara Aleski, Virginia Oliver, Marge Quinn, Mary Ellen Furar.
Bea was an incredibly hard-working professional who only just retired from her job at the credit union in October of 2025. She was a beautiful lady – vibrant, funny, generous to a fault, and a joy to all who knew her. Bea loved her family and friends, cooking and entertaining, playing cards, visiting the track and casino, decorating, and Christmas. Her collection of Christmas houses and tradition of decorating three to four Christmas trees every year was impressive and second to none. Bea will be missed by all who knew and loved her. She brought love, life, warmth, and humor into every room she entered. Rest in peace, Bea.
According to her wishes, Bea was cremated and will be laid to rest with her husband, Fran, at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies at a later date. In addition, a Celebration of her Life will be planned for later this spring. It is respectfully requested that donations in Bea’s memory be sent to: American Heart Association, P. O. Box 840692, Dallas, TX, 75284-0692; American Cancer Society, P. O. Box 6704, Hagerstown, MD, 21741; or, one’s local food pantry.
